On November 14, 2023, Starfish Stories Publishing released its first annual anthology project: A collection of stories that bears witness to the extraordinary lives of stories of ordinary women. We intend to use this project to cultivate safe and sacred spaces for women to share their lives with one another and the world.
In this special blog series, it is our honor to introduce these women to you 🙂

Why did you decide to participate in this project?
Everyone needs someone to give them a spark of inspiration to not give up and to keep going and be the best that they can be. It can change lives for the better.
In one sentence, what is your chapter about?
Healing and never giving up.
Who do you hope reads your chapter? Who is your chapter written for?
My chapter is written for the woman drowning in waves of pain, the woman who just needs someone to show her that she is strong enough and that she can make it through.
What impact do you think your chapter will have on our readers’ lives?
It will give them hope and show them they are not alone.
What have you learned about yourself from participating in this project?
I have learned that I will never give up on helping to change lives, even if its just one. Hopefully, this book will reach and help many more.
If you could go back in time, and give your 10-year-old self some advice, encouragement, or wisdom, what would you want her to know?
That she is worthy, that her imperfections make her unique, and that she deserves true happiness and is strong enough to hold out for what is right for her and not settle for what is wrong.
Why do you think other women should consider participating in a project/experience like this one?
It can change lives.
What is your favorite book of all time?
Oooof no comment. So many have made changes within me.
